To help us resolve your issue quickly, include the following information if it’s available:

Red NC State Tag # (Starts with COS)
Computer Hostname
Service Tag/Serial Number

Unity ID
Current Location
Contact Information and Communication Preferences
Usage Type (Office, Lab, Teaching Lab, Lectern)
PI name (If Lab Computer or Graduate Student)

Need a loaner?

College of Sciences maintains a limited number of laptops for students with financial or emergency needs for up to one semester, with possible renewal.

Student Loaners are primarily intended for undergraduates and unfunded graduate students but others will be considered.

Check with us about non-student loaners as well for short term arrangements, emergencies, and international travel.

NC State Libraries also has a variety of devices available.
