Access Department Files (S-Drive)

Campus Windows Computers

When working from other Campus Windows machines you can access your saved files by typing: \\wolftech.ad.ncsu.edu\cos\stat\redirect\UNITYID

Example: \\wolftech.ad.ncsu.edu\cos\stat\redirect\jdoe22

Campus Mac Computers

When working from a MAC on Campus, you can access your saved files by clicking your desktop background the clicking Go and Connect to Server.

smb://wolftech.ad.ncsu.edu/cos/stat/redirect/UNITYID

Possibly a pop-up will appear asking you to login with your UNITYID and your MyPack password.

Example: smb://wolftech.ad.ncsu.edu/cos/stat/redirect/jdoe22

Off Campus

If your off campus you must establish a NCSU VPN connection and then you can SFTP your files by using free programs like WinSCP, FileZilla or CyberDuck and connecting to the following:

  • server: sftp.stat.ncsu.edu
  • login: UNITYID
  • password: MyPack Password

Access Shared Folder (L-Drive)

Campus Windows

When working from other Campus Windows machines you can access these files by typing:

\\wolftech.ad.ncsu.edu\cos\stat\files\shares\class-data

Campus Mac

When working from a MAC on Campus, you can access your saved files by clicking your desktop background the clicking Go and Connect to Server.

smb://wolftech.ad.ncsu.edu/cos/stat/files/shares/class-data

Off Campus
