Sciences IT has partnered with OIT ClassTech to provide audiovisual support for College of Sciences Classroom Laboratories and high profile Conference Rooms. Sciences IT may also provide limited In-person technical support for special events contingent on resource availability.

Technical Event Support

Sciences IT may be able to provide limited in-person technical support to help your event run smoothly.

What We Can Help With

• Consult on technical event needs
• Set up and break down of technical components
• Provide equipment from our small pool of loaners if the venue isn’t fully equipped
• On-site basic IT support throughout the event

What to Keep in Mind

• The requestor is responsible for all non-technical components of the event.
• Creating and managing virtual meetings and live streams is the responsibility of the requestor.
• A fee may apply for extensive requests, after-hours events, or weekend events.
• All support is subject to staff availability.
• Submit your request at least 2 weeks in advance for simple events and at least 1 month for complex events. Include the event date, location, and technical needs.
• You may be referred to WolfBytes for high profile or high complexity needs.
