OIT Extended Maintenance

- Many major IT and network services will be degraded or unavailable, plan accordingly!
- Phishing continues to be a major point of disruption. Familiarize yourself with how to recognize and report common scams.
- Don’t forward suspicious emails! Report phishing by clicking the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of Gmail.
FY26 Computer Purchases
- There continue to be industry wide supply chain disruptions due to shifts caused by AI investment.
- Prices are rising quickly, delivery times are extending, and stock may be limited to pre-configured options.
- As we approach the end of the fiscal year, we highly recommend that you quickly order any needed systems and choose from pre-configured CPI systems.

- Cost for Google AI Pro for Education has been reduced to $168/user/year
Service Charge For Post-Departure Employee Data Retrieval
- Beginning Feb 4th, the University will charge a $1,500 service fee for data retrieval after an employee has left the university, with some exceptions.
- To avoid charges, complete all action items in the separation checklist to retrieve all necessary data before the employee leaves.
- Continue to check the University’s digital accessibility website including training and tools to check your content.
- DELTA is providing a 10-week workshop and other accessibility resources for instructors
- Continue to check the University’s Canvas Transition website for the most up to date information.
